Seriously, I think I should like start to learn driving, registering for driving class or private, pass my Basic Theory, pass my Final Theory and Practical Exam. Rahh, I'm going to save up money for it. This is just so irritating whereby all the trains and buses are always pack! I feel so sardine-fied. I just need my own space.
I want to DRIVE!
The reason why H letting it go is just simple. It was because of the 3am call from W.

New blogskin. New post.
2008
was quite a meaningful year I would say. A lot of things happened within the past 12 months and it felt like it's only less than a month itself. I still remember me and bus buddy used to have a talk in March after Cheerobics, thinking on how much life will change after that day and how are we growing older and "supposed" to be more mature. Now, that time really flew and a lot of things happened.
At January 2007, I remembered that we, Magnum Force went over to Thailand to have a cheer exchange program with our friends, Bangkok University. It was really a fruitful 5days4nights in Thailand. However in 2008, we had another exchange program with TopGun Coaches [Carlos, Bettis and Triana]. Though we only spent a few days together, the memories of us and them will never be forgotten.
March 2008, Magnum Force had their annual Cheerobics Competition. It was the day where we stepped into the competition ground again. Magnum did a pretty good job this time around. Though we didn't managed to achieve our goal but still (: The Magnum All-Girls managed to bring back glory for us. Proud of them.
During that time, I managed to perform with Philharmonic Winds for their Beautiful Sunday event at the Esplanade. I joined Philyouth in July 2007, looking for a new environment to learn music and improve my skills. Also, I need to explore more musicality in myself. Through this, I managed to learn quite a lot of things, under the baton of Mr Leonard Tan. Ever since, I've decided to commit myself into Philyouth, hoping that my musicality will improve. I'm sure I did.
In July after that performance, Philyouth decided to enter Singapore International Band Festival 2008, competing in First division. Distance for us, I guess don't really matter as we know we all have to work hard for that competition. Choosing pieces from "Hymn to the Infinite Sky, Warcry of Elfgen, Mont Blanc, Movement For Rosa, Symphonic Overture etc", we decided to use Symphonic Overture and Cavetown Cappadoccia. With two pieces that needs extreme attention, we managed to get through and clinched the only Gold medal and Top in Category with percentage of 93.43%. It was one of the greatest feeling ever. That victorious feeling, I will never forget. I'm totally thankful and grateful to those who have helped us in a way or too, especially Mr Adrian Chiang and Mr Leonard Tan.
Through that, I made new friends, new cliques and close friends too. We're all the same aren't we? Same section, Same goal, Same character [almost] but from different background.
The P.L.O.C.K Perks. [I still think that this picture is nice]. We'll be together for the upcoming season till this year ends. Watch us out!As slowly times moves on, I was called into the Philharmonic Youth Committee, being the Welfare. Things were and are still doing well in Philyouth committee. Hoping to learn new things from the higher authority.
Starting from scratch, us committee managed to plan out a concert which was held on the 23rd December at Victoria Concert Hall. For me, it was my first concert that I had to plan. Overall, philyouth did a very good job, mantaining that percentage for the concert! 70% of the same people, 30% new players and I'm glad we did a very good job.
This is not the end. Catch us bringing more music to this growing music scene!
December 2008
I've auditioned for the Junior College/Polytechnic Band Festival 2008 and I passed, letting me into the Honour band aka "the JCPBF Honourables". Being under the baton of Dr. Eric Hammer, it was quite a fruitful 5day event. He made us understand music deeper and how important every player is, regardless how good or how bad they are. Listening is one of the most important things as a musician. Musicians from all different schools [most AC's] come together to play 4 pieces together. Made new friends and cliques as well.
2008 too, brings in new people into my life.
New friends, new juniors, new buddies, new besties.
New friendship blooms, old friends wither but some grew stronger.
People do come and go as they please. None of us have the right to stop them from moving on or going their own separate ways. We should just let go and move on. Really miss those times when we were together, laughing at ever single bullshit and lame jokes. Hee(:
2009,
a year to start afresh. Who knows what will happen in the mere future. Who knows what will I see in the next day. Who knows who will I meet in the upcoming week.
Like every year, I'll be having a hectic schedule. It will be more hectic and I'll get busier. This is a SYF season, Cheerobics season, more Beautiful Sunday, FYP season, more Esplanade concerts, hoping to have more performances. Not forgetting, this year I'll go EXTREMME!
Outings, meetings and gathering can be done and I'm okay with them. Whatever it is, book me.
Like I've said before, book me in advance. Not last minute.
There's a reason I'm not blogging about it. Let's forget about it and just forget.
