Certain things, can never be explained.
Well, I supposed it was just a misunderstanding.
I didn't know the reason why THOSE people were there in the first place.
Now, I do. So yeah. ((:
Everybody deserves a chance. ((:

Yes, some of us WORKED hard enough to go up in the higher level.
Well, even if they ARE playing, there's a certain level of gap.
I'm going to work even harder, obviously.

Well,
That day
will not be as perfect as I planned it would be.
A day for the younger players to shine out, along with the rest.
It just felt like I'm playing with the EXACT same bunch of people again for the past few times.

The feeling of motivation is actually not there.
That's why Thursdays are so not there.
Well, it will be change. I don't care.
Who cares about what I think.
They're the committee, they decide.
I'm just a regular dude, trying to produce "nice" music.
That's all.

Oh, I will confess la. I think I'm taking a break from the youth winds itself. I need my Sundays for now. 3.5 years playing in the youth band every Sunday actually takes a lot of commitment. Now, I have the main band. I have something to look forward to though. Mr Willy Tan has plans for me and my section. I'm taking my grade 5 practical and grade 6 theory next year (if I have the money). Yup, with the certificates, I think I want to tutor schools already. But for now, I'm focusing on Magnum. Tryouts are coming SUPER SUPER soon! And I'm still not doing anything. Gulps. My section can handle it well. Alfri, Maisarah and Hong are already audition-ing up for the main band itself. Still, I think that they will sure go for the youth band practice.

So, the youth wind percussionist can handle it well. The CLIQUE also, still surviving *I suppose. Yes, I don't mean to abandon them but there's certain things that you need to sacrifice in order to move on. True? I do miss them, seriously. Like bullying Sandy, bitching about every single thing happens in life and eating at cavana. Aww, shux. Anyways, the trio's are doing well in the clique, without Melvin and Colin (The Bosses). Sandy, Azman and myself left the clique due to own reasons. We're not of a much help anyways. So yarh, sorry guys. I will be back in December, I think. Maybe. ((:

Oh, For your information :
I'm not demoralising anyone at all. If any of us thinks that we're too good, we won't even want you guys to play with us. I just didn't know why you guys were there in the first place. I was curious in the first place. If anyone of us is lousy, we shouldn't even be in the band in the first place. Everyone has their own strength and weaknesses. DUH! I'm not a great player myself. I'm still learning. I'm not as perfect as you! So, I'm not criticising/demoralising anyone. I just want to get my answers. So, don't get offended la. Duh!

HAHA! You tell me, which IDIOT don't want to perform at such a GRAND HALL?! Duh.

Like the peribahasa which goes,

"Siapa makan chilli, akan terasa pedasnya."

Direct translation :

"Who eats the chilli, will taste it's spiciness."

it's just not fair that they get a sudden opportunity to be part of us suddenly. Yes, we are one big family but those capable ones should only be selected. It's really not fair to some of the new senior players. We worked and practiced hard just to play for such event, we even had to auditioned. We're supposed to be the chosen ones, not some tomdickandharry. If that's the case, there shouldn't be any separation among us at all. True? Even if we need players, we should at least require them to audition for it. Not all of them to be attending thursday night practices. I felt like as if it's a youth band practice. Seriously. I think it was a big mistake.
Esplanade is not a concert hall for TOMDICKANDHARRY players.
