Rahh..
Here I am, slacking at Macdonalds at midnight! Rahh. I should be at home, sleeping or something. Oh wells, I'm accompanying Nazreen for overnight study. He's into studying, I guess. While at it, I shall blog abit. Rahhh!
Now let's see. Seriously, with noevents happening. I'm DAMN bored I tell you. There's nothing to do! I've watched quite a number of movies. Rush Hour III, Disturbia, Alone, Vacancy, The Simpsons Movie, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, American Pie 2 - 5, Troy. Okay, not that much la. Anyways, I want to watch HAIRSPRAY and that RAT-TA-TOU-ILLE(sp?). I downloaded quite a number of movies I've yet to watch. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Da Vinci Code, Final Destination 1 - 3, Shutter and Memoirs of Geisha. Rahh!
Rah! Training, please start can?! I'm getting FLABS now! No more not-so-visible packs. Haha! Rawr! I still have not gym lately. Been procrastinating about it. My dearest lappy, which was send for repair due to faulty motherboard and missing screws, has now faced a new problem. The LCD itself has a some weird weird vertical stripes and it changes into different colour. Then, it goes BLACK! Rawr! I still need to send it for repair on Monday! Rawr. Yarh, AGAIN! I don't know whether training starts on Monday or Wednesday. Haha! Rahhhh! I need to gym, like seriously! Been procrastinating about morning jogs at about 4am. At 4am, I still HAVENT SLEEP! Rah. I need to sleep! Seriously! I want to watch more movies! DATE me out, anyone?! Ha!
I want to eat at THAI EXPRESS!!! Can?! *Hint Hint

Hello.
Finally, this semester has totally ENDED! I have only TWO papers this time round and I think I'm able to scrape through both! Ha!
Things and events are commencing very very SOON!
1) Magnum Force Bonding Camp
2) Magnum Force Training Camp
3) AiBand's Band Outing/Band Camp
4) SWS - Mr Mitsuo Nonami Concert Coverage/Review
5) Fasting Month - 13th September
6) Tryouts - National Team `08.
I need a break! Wait, no! I need a JOB! Can somebody please hire me?! I'm planning to work at Gymwerks since it's in school and I'm able to gym and go for training without absenting. Rawr. There's still other opportunities outside also. I totally have no experience in working. Seriously. I don't mind if someone will hire me to clean his/her room for a price. Haha! Sounds as if I'm desperate for work. Oh well, I'm going to wait for the Magnum's September Schedule FIRST, then I shall think about working. Rahh!
I predict that this coming holidays will be the same as last year's holidays. A whole month of training, everyday. Don't really know whether it will be everyday or just extra trainings. Hope that they don't touch the weekends too much. I want to go out with my parents please! It's been FIVE months since I went out with them. Parents and me! I want to go shopping! That's why I need this kind of kaching. I'm in need of cash! I wish just one day, with my own hard-earned money, I could treat my parents at a nice restaurant! I want to be a nice son, okay!
This means that I need money to shop! I want a HUGE Green/Black Crumpler!
Since I have already taken a break from the band scene (weekdays), I'm no more playing for concerts till after nationals 2008. I'm only going back to see/visit or practice when I'm free. That means, I'm totally giving my 100% in my attendance for training. No more 52%. I'm going to check my attendance record also. I don't have any late/absent records for the month of August. For July, I was late three times, Wednesdays due to doing projects. We shall see how it goes then.
I'm totally going to gym, regardless there's people or not. If I'm THAT shy, I'll go at 9am in the morning where there's not much people. Just that, waking up early might be a problem. I want to grow big can?! Without eating proteins and stuffs like that. I'm feeling stagnant ever since last year. I lost all my confidence in partner stunts. Feeling a little inferior of those people who can do them. I still suck at gymnastics. Rawr! Doing the usual routine at home, but it seems I have not been growing, at all! Been procrastinating about jogging in the middle of the night. Thrice! Oh well, I'm heading to the gym tomorrow! I mean, later!
I'm not going to procrastinate no more!
Speaking of which. I'm sending in my dear laptop to ACER for repair. It died on me several times this two weeks and I got seriously irritated. There's loose screws, rolling inside my lappy's body. I have a missing memory card cover. My fan is spoiled. That's why my laptop died due to overheat. Rawr! and I'm sending my laptop for cleaning service. Can't believe there was once i click on the spacebar, countless of ants came out. Wonder what were they been doing under it. I'm going to complain about it's battery life. The battery when flat in about 20minutes! So fast! Rah! Hope it will be done soon!
Rah! MF Committee! Make sure BONDING CAMP will be a HUGE BLAST!! I'm so totally looking forward for it.
I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY 2007 UNIFORM YET!! Rahh!
Fasting month is just around the corner. I'm quite prepared for it, I guess. It will like last year. Sushi for break fast, only when I'm in school/training. Oct 13 will be Hari Raya and school reopens on the 15th. Looks like this year, no celebrations as well.
This means that I'm not into Hari Raya no more.
Oh, I seriously want to get my drivers license. I seriously find myself DAMN lazy just to wait for 171 and 184/75 just to go to school! I just felt like cabbing to school everyday. I don't want people to drive me. I want to drive on my own! Rah! First, need to get money for lessons. Then, Talk about it!
This proves that I need to work to earn extra Cash!

Soto Ayam ; Chicken Porridge ; Apples ; Sugar Dounts. I need a new restaurant with new food. The last nicest food I ate was with Mel at Thai Express. Softshell black pepper crab. Nice!

If I don't have any plans this Saturday, it's back to Sentosa again! Not with Magnum this time. With my Cliques! I miss them, seriously. Abandoned them for too long. I need time to catch up with them. Rah!

Hello.
This will be post about Beautiful Sunday. I think I'll be lazy to blog about things that is already happened. I'll try to blog more things. So yup, enjoy.

12th August,
Singapore Wind Symphony presented Beautiful Sunday - A Concert at the Esplanade.
It was the nation's birthday. Thus, we named it.
".Our Beautiful Singapore."
Okay, it was an early Sunday morning. I got ready and stuffs like that. As usual, I came late. Ha! I cabbed down to UPCC and arrived about 9.10 of which they already started shifting the percussion instruments already.
First thing, I was in the cab calling "hong-ster", "bukit girl" and "afro". Lame. *roll eyes. Anyways, hong told me she will be late. Mai was the EARLIEST for the first time!! At that point of time, Alfri called me and he just woke up. Seriously ohmygawd.
Three things that spoiled our morning somehow ;
1. Alfri woke up late. In the end, had to meet at the Esplanade.
2. Maisarah forgot her scores. She left it at home. Dad had to send it to her.
3. I forgot to bring my bowtie! Mr Willy Tan saved my day! Thankyou!
Okay, it was off to the Esplanade! Since there's only my section mates, Keith and *iforgothisname* on the lorry. Hong, Mai and myself camwhored all the way till Esplanade. We came up with a lot of funny shot names and poses eg. "SEVEN SHOTS".
The damn funny pictures of us while Keith and *whatshisnameagain* watch us, along with the drivers!
It's full of Spasms, ACBC's and stuffs like that. Usual.
When we reach the esplanade. The two girls went Gaga over every single thing in the concert hall. We wanted to find our own dressing room, but there was a miscommunication of gender issues. Ha! We didn't bother about it much. We went to set up our percussion instruments immediately. Well, miscommunication and making so much noise on thinking where to put the aux. percussion and stuffs like that. Oh well.
Rehearsal went on without us. Tried to fasten the pace and we finally joined them for rehearsal.
The repertoire was place in this order:
1. Postcards from Singapore (Philip Sparke)
2. A Pretty Island (Mary Tan, arr. Mitsuo Nonami)
3. Beautiful Singapore (arr. Mitsuo Nonami)
4. ASEAN Selection (arr. Mitsuo Nonami)
5. Singapura Suite (Jan Van der Roost)
6. Semoga Bahagia (Zubir Said, arr. Josef Marin)
7. Kuai Le Mi Ma (arr. Johnson Lee)
8. Home (arr. Richard Png)
9. Stand Up for Singapore (arr. Mr Rasull)
10. March Together (arr. Mitsuo Nonami) *Encore
After rehearsal, we were briefed for the event itself and we headed to lunch. It was DoubleCheeseBurger and McChicken. The four of us decided to share the dressing room because we didn't want to get separated. Ha! We found a dressing room which was empty *a room beside mine last year*, we booked it!
That's the view of the esplanade concert hall for that day. We went to search for the artiste's lounge and headed back to the dressing room to eat/bath/makeup/dressup.
Oh, before I left the stage, I took the picture of the empty players seat, only one left. I think it's nice. Heh!

There were only four of us in the room. Alfri, Mai, Hong and myself. We each got a mirror except hong. Ha! The shower and the toilet is quite SHIOK! Alfri went to bath while I laosai-ed. Whoops. Maisarah, took a video of me and alfri's conversation in the toilet. Oh, I was stuffed into the locker. Thanks mai! *roll eyes
and for being too noisy, I was stuffed in the locker.
After we ate. We camwhored alot before we really go and dress up. I was talking to alice about eyeliners and skin moisturiser as I was peeling. Yup, I'm not going to post all the SEVEN shots pictures again. Too big I guess. We were taking our own sweet time, chatting, bitching and bathing. The shower in the toilet is damn cold! I think about 14degrees? Maybe.

Okay. We got ready and make up and dress up. Took us about approximately 45mins. heh!
From Patriotic PercKies to Gorgeous Percussionist. It was almost 2.15pm and we were the last to report. Heh!

and guess what? The briefing was actually a photoshoot of the whole band with Mr Nonami! So while waiting, I took more pictures! Ha!
It was SHOWTIME! Gosh, a long post! I was at backstage, thinking back the same thoughts last year. Freaking out, getting the hall filled up. Performance time came in. All I hear from the audiences was their claps and their screams for my name. Obviously, my juniors and my friends. The hall was finally full after the first song! But yup, I was quite happy about it. This time round only 6 mistakes. I can do better. Seriously.
The concert ended one hour later with our Encore piece. It was really beautiful and the repetoire made me realise how much I love our home. Yup, it does somehow.
*clap clap clap clap*
Concert ends.
It was packing up time. We only took 25 minutes to pack the whole thing and send it back to the lorry. That's fast! Ha! We screamed at Greg for not sharing his SUITE beside Mr Nonami's dressing room! It was all alone his! Not fair!

We love him a lot seriously. Thanks to him, we learnt much more than just playing. It's the passion, the reality of music and so forth. He's nice. Sorry Mr Nonami. I'm not playing for 16th September. Got to sacrifice this one. I have tryouts to train for. ((:

This is my last performance for the year. Most probably, I'll be taking a six months break from the band scene. That means I will not play for anymore concerts till after March 2008. For now, I'm going to prioritise on cheerleading for the moment. I have tryouts to train for. We have a title to regain. I have to work harder than the rest. So yup, I'll go for practices once in a while. Don't worry. I'll practice my stuffs at home too. I'll miss you guys. -Batonboy
