BIG NEWS!One Week Events that totally wake me up! First thing, Magnum force is having a cheer leading workshop for public. Free to do stunts, gymnastics and more! All you have to do is to just sign up at www.magnumforce.cjb.net and an amount of $4 is required to attend this workshop in our School's Sport Deck level Three. Hope you guys will be able to come for this workshop.Let me Talk about Magnum Force first. Since my band events are almost over, Lenny told me to promise him to come for all trainings. I shouldn't have promised him that. It's not that I do not have passion for Magnum Force. It's just that I love to perform on stage to let people see and watch. I do not like to compete ; other than being in Nationals and more. Other than that, I have passion for performing arts and sports too. That's the reason why I join Magnum Force. It's not that I do not want to commit. I understand that Magnum Force needs a full time commitment, but please give me time to reduce down on my other commitments. Another thing is that I realised I've been left out from the stunts, due to reasons, obviously for not coming training due to having band practice and more. But then, I told myself, I need to catch up on my own, learn and watch and practice hard so that I will have more confidence in myself to do stunts and be a good base. Speaking of base, I've asked Lenny to train me to be a better flyer. He said all I have to do is to just build up my strength as to be a 2nd base flyer, I need strength and a large amount of momentum to support myself and my top flyer. Wilson is now learning to do it. Of course, I am jealous obviously. Wilson, Shaun Mok and myself will be train to be a stong second base. Thanks Lenny for giving me this chance!I've realised that I love Monday training more than other training days. Monday training is fun more me as it is a day whereby Physical Training is critical and stunts are little and it gives me time to catch up on stunts that I did not learn or do for the past trainings. Heekz, Gymnastics too are very fun! Especially Back Tuck Jump! I want to do it can? I must be good! C'mon Fifi. Let's Go! I love my seniors! Zi Jun, Jen, Zhi Liang, KL : Thanks for supporting me last training. Sorry I broke down infront of you guys. Kind off embarassing and thanks for making me trust you guys. Aww, Shucks!I'm going for more training!2nd event : Ai's Concert ; Jubilant, A combined concert of Choir and Band. First thing, I think the school somehow don't appreciate peoples help. Well, I think I'm not going to help AiBand that much now. I think they can cope on their own. Let them settle their stuffs on their own. I think they should know their standard by now and should start to walk on their two feets. I can't possibly be helping them, especially the majors. If not, when will they learn and always depend on seniors. Besides, I don't think the school appreciates my help. All my hardwork and sacrifices to the band all did not pay off. Instead it went into the drain. Now I know how much the band and the teachers, including the school do not wish for me to come back to Aiband and help. Well, since now I know the answer. I think I will leave them on their own. I do not want to be stress for events which are not mine when they themselves think too highly of themselves and not prepared to face the shame and consequences. They do not know what other bands and people talk about Aiband. I don't think they realise their mistakes. I do not know when will Aiband will learn their mistakes. Well, I realised that they will only work if they wish to, not have to. The concert went along fine. The choir did a very good job but the band, did allright. The combine was Great. Great audience and it was Full House! Allright. Nothing much I wish to say about Aiband anymore. I dun think I will come back to Ai no more. I shall not volunteer to help the band no more. =) All the best to them. Loved.Oh, Good Job on getting a BRONZE for the NBC! =)3rd Event :15th July 2006A Day to be remembered. Our wait for the results for the competition was such a killer! But in the end, our efforts paid off.Band No. 1:Sembawang Symphonic Winds. With the Percentage of 87.5%,GOLD!!All of us scream with joy. I do not know why but I can't cry once they released the result. The taste of Gold is really good. Also, not to forget. We Clinged as the TOP BAND for 2nd Division! How good can that be?! We will be performing on the 23rd July for band presentation. Some other bands did quite well too. Quite proud of CCHY and got Gold itself for the competition. I shall drag them to SWS! Heekz!Mercury and Noah's ark!Wonder where our 2.5% went to, if not it will be a distinction. We owe a lot to Mr D ng, Mr A Ng, Wai Geng and of course, ourselves! Without anyone of us, I don't think the gold can be there! We were the smallest band there, members of only 40 odd plus and we were the softest. We lost in volume but beaten them in intonation and sound. Now I realise that Volume in music is only 10% of what we should play. The rest relies on Intonation, Syncopation and Sound and Balance. Well, I'm still Too happy!I'm off! TOP BAND!12th August 2006PRESS STARTUlu Pandan CC$8.Tickets Find me!

UPDATE!This will be a short update I suppose. I'm at home now, currently suffering for diarrhoea. I'm skipping EngMaths lecture today, hoping that Mr Kwan won't kill me. I think I will go for practical later though. Ouch!Anyways, been wanting to update my blog but then, L-A-Z-Y! I hope I can finish up my update before 9.30am. Gosh, this few days has been hectic for me! Imagine myself cabbing down to different destination within one day due to being late for rehearsals or events. Last Sunday, I cabbed down from SWS down to SSW. Woah, my money fly can?Last Saturday, Hilton hotel performance. It was practically allright. In the first place, I think Ssw should be honoured to get the opportunity to perform for Dr. Tony Tan, who is leaving Sembawang GRC. Anyways, having the thought that we will perform on the stage itself, it was totally a big mistake. In the end, we had to perform on the side of the stage whereby on the other hand was the Orchestra Melayu Marsiling. As usual, we were given limited space for the performance and we had to squeeze our instruments and butts. Gosh, I pity my tubist. They practically have to sit side by side without any gaps just to let my mallet percussion move in and have space. Anyways, playing in Hilton hotel was simply cool. Free buffet and it was superb! Though we realise that the choices were small, but what could be better than getting a free buffet?! The performers there were great. Well, there were the Woodlands Secondary dance society, Orchestra Melayu Marsiling, Marsiling Chinese Orchestra and of course, Sembawang Symphonic Winds. They should have a choir too. I think that will be cool! Anyways, we shared that small area with the chinese orchestra. As usual, I've been having this hatred feeling for chinese orchestra since I was a secondary 2. It's more like a competition kind of feeling. Well, I think the pieces that we played did blast them of from their instrument. Nonetheless, I think the chinese orchestra people are nice. Thanks for helping me back there boy, whatever your name is! lol! Well, the performance was superb ! Other than me playing a obvious arpeggios with a wrong note! I suppose to end with a Bb but I ended with an Ab note. Gosh, sorry band! Well, one thing I learn from the competition is that never fight over small matters and make it worse. Well, I still have to work hard. Competition is just next week! GOLD please?! Okay, last band practice was simply allright. I think we improved a lot more. I just realised all the while I've been playing wrong running notes! Gosh! Silly me, I should have observe the score more in depth. Oh well, it's a good thing I realised it now rather than I played a wrong note during the competition. I hope the judges will be nice to all of us. Maybe, some of my competitors deserve to get gold and some of us maybe deserve to get gold with distinction. No silver Please! heekz. I'm so excited for this competition though. Really can't wait for it to occur. I want to trash my competitors! Heekz, I hope Chung Cheng High (Yishun) will get Gold too! I heard their playing was good. Hmm, their pieces really bring back memories!Sws practice! Oh please, I lost touch with my 4 sexy timpanis already. I think I have to get use to playing timpani again as I think I'm playing too much mallet! Last practice, was okay. Played final fantasy 7 of which I screwed up my parts. ALOT! Carnival of the Animals which I think was good. The Incredibles was Okay and of course, Final fantasy 10 which I think was superb! I'm having a FREE concert this SUNDAY at the ESPLANADE CONCERT HALL. 3PM. Do come and support me can?! I love you guys!Yesterday, I went back to Aiband to play. I took the band yesterday. Well, they seem to be playing much better. Yes, I think what Huang Yun said is quite true. The band only works on peices which they like and I think with the Modified techno version of Yellow mountains, they seem to love it. Well, Huang Yun suggesting for this piece, the band wants me to conduct them. Well, I hope Mr thong will give me the opportunity though. I still love Aiband! Guys, work hard please!MAGNUM FORCE! Ready, Okay! One, Two, Down UP! Training was really Superb! I'm proud of myself! I finally can do most things on my own already. It's just I think I'm lacking confidence to do things. I want to lose my BIG FLABBY TUMMY can?! Gosh, I wan six packs. Form up slowly please? I love it. I can do their stunts now. Last time, I can't do elevator but now, I CAN! Yay! Happy for myself. Okay, I think I grew a bit stronger. I'm Still Fat! I love Magnum! I love our coaches! One is super bitchy, Lenny. He's super nice and a good flyer! My Inspiration to be a flyer is here again! The other one is Dion, the hyper motivational one. He's a good base and always think that he's fat! Heekz. I'm going magnum today! I wanna lose 3 kg! 50kg again please?!Okay, I'm out! It's you.
