I'm back from camp. It's totally a POWER-PACKED CAMP! Thank you Magnum Committee for such a camp. I'm totally shagged and I need to catch up on my studies.
I'm getting sunburns from the sun *duh*. I'm dark now. Like seriously. Tanning session with Magnies is so fun. Seriously. I will post more things about the camp soon.
Oh, the Sentosa trip was a SUPERB one! Damn tiring. really.

Overdue Post.

After a whole year waiting, he's finally 15!
So the other night after band practice, I went to meet up with the NIE Youth Winds players. Not all, obviously. The plan was to give THAT kid a big birthday surprise. Okay, it was not a huge surprise in the end though. Scroll down for more!
Anyways, I met them at Jurong Point and we had a "light" dinner first. You know what, every other thing that he could eat, he wanted chicken cutlet rice. I don't get it! What's so nice about chicken cutlet rice?! WORSE still, he chose CHICKEN RICE in the end. I'm was so *Ohmygosh*. Oh well, it was his choice. While we were eating, there were some bickering between Hayati and Ahmad. They both kept fighting since in band, I think. They both can't stop bitching about each other until we reach the place. After eating, all of us headed to TAMAN JURONG GREEN. It's soo not my place to be. Heh.
We took bus 240, I think. Both the couple were still fighting. There's only Asriq, me, Hayati, Kang Chun, Ahmad and Sufian. Nafisa came along in the end after much persuasion by ME. Hehe!
We settled down at the shelter near this caterpillar which they think is cute. Haha! A closer look of it. Anyways, after I bought Asriq the cake *Nutella flavour*, we realised that we have nothing to eat with as in utensils or even tissue paper? Heh. I asked Asriq to buy some light snacks to munch and guess what he bought?
You look at the items that HE bought? We only have 7 people with us and he bought 50cups! and 50plates! and 10packets of tissues! Oh my! Okay, waste of money but what the heck, it was his birthday.
Oh well, we had the cakecutting session. Asriq was fed by Nafisa but things went wrong, she fed him and the cake went into his nose. Seriously, it looks like ______. Haha!
We had the cuttingcake session AGAIN. This time, a proper one. We sang him a "nice" birthday song and he finally cut the cake, with left hand. He, being so lazy *as usual*, cut only one portion of the cake and he wanted them to feed him. So, NAFISA cut the cake for all of us and we saved onequarter of the cake for other purposes. See his face, he's so happy. Heh! He kept one of the junk food under his armpit. Nafisa was quite disgusted about it and she BLACKLISTED it. Haha! He's been holding the junk food of which I don't know why. Assriq!
We dared Asriq to take the candle deep inside the cake. Seriously, he took it like an easy task. Heh! Being mischievous as I am, I push his face into the cake! He's totally filled with Nutella cake on his face! Whoops. Sorry boy! Well, me and Nafisa clean-ed him up after that. Pity little boy. Heh!
The smashed cake, AHMAD went to eat it since he's STILL hungry! Haha!
Well, it was quite fun in the end though. I mean, they played VOLLEYBALL again and again. Me, Sufian and Nafisa had this NC16 talk about everything in life. Haha! Damn freaking ass funny la. Well, a minor celebration but hope he enjoyed it though. Seriously. Headed back home after that with a long sleep in the train. Heh. I was totally tired out after it. Oh wells.

12th April 2007 ; Aiband's SYF
Congratulations to my dear AiBand, for being able to maintain SILVER in this year's 2007 SYF. Long hours of practices everyday, with numerous scolding and countless pails filled with tears along with countless round around the school. Though this SYF is not mine, but I'm just happy that you guys have made it.
We made history again.
1 COP in 2001
3 Silver medals in 2003, 2005, 2007.
What will we get in 2009?
a Silver or Gold?

When they announced the results, being happy is one thing. But thinking back, listening to their recording and looking through the judging over and over again. I just felt that this year's Silver ain't as shiny as the past SYF. Maybe this year, it was just a silverish bronze. Maybe? It's the judges decision to give them what they deserve. I'm as an alumni is happy with what they achieve but I, as an audience during the SYF, was not satisfied over their judging. That's all.
However, the Silver will be kept for another two years. ((:
