I may be crude
I may be demanding
But I want to get the best out of everything.
I really just want to try my best.

But have you ever experienced that feeling
whereby trying so hard, but it still gets you nowhere?
I guess it's really not about me, 100%.
It's about the other people that I have to work with to.

Call me noisy,
Call me a loudmouth,
I'm just trying to make myself work harder.
Seriously, if I don't even bother I will never even try to make it happen.
Responsibilities are given to every human being.
I'm SURE about 99% of the world population will not carry out their responsibilities
with a FULL 100% sincerity.
It's that feeling of unsincerity that makes the world go round.
No point putting your 100% if your team is giving 50%.
I am really pushing myself, but no one is just realising it.

Yes, results are important. That's what matters IF you ACHIEVE what you want.
but on the other hand,
PROCESS are much more important. That's what matters IF you FAILED to achieve what you want.
That's what everybody will say.
That's human nature. Trying our best to hide from the feeling of failure.
It's just embarassing, I know.

Nobody grows up, wanting to listen to any Tom, Dick and Harry.
Each and everyone of us, have something in our heart, something we yearn for.
Something that will take a very long time to achieve, or might not be able to achieve by our last breath.
But who will be the one instructing us when we are still a nobody. Tom, Dick and Harry.

Trust me. I'm really hating my life right now.
Used to love the way I live my life with. But I seriously think that it's just the age.
AGE-ING makes you think through your life before you reach a year older. Time and Tide waits for no MAN/woMAN.

Human beings have feelings too right?!
Take for example;
Seriously, who cheers the cheerleader when the cheerleader cant cheer anymore?
What if there's only ONE cheerleader in the world, and he/she lost his/her CHEER-MOJO?
Who will it be to take over or be the one helping that cheerleader?
It applies to the same thing in life.

Everyone wants their life to be easy. Just the way we like it.
But I guess, sometimes giving in to others will make our life much easier.
Easy life, no stress.
But giving in too much makes things complicated too. Stepping over your head and playing around with your mind and talent, is totally a no no.
I think sticking to your own point of view and being neutral is really the best thing ever.
I rather be a rebel rather than being a loser, who follows around the Big L.

I think in about 20 years down the road
I think the world should really invent a pill called
"PMS FOR MEN"
Men are having more pms than women.
I maybe one of them. Don't ask why.
I have problems too. I dont go around telling people my problems and issues.

Don't talk to me about responsibility.
Cos I'm sick of that word anymore.
Cos all I know now, it's not MY job anymore.
3 years of trying to make things work
will just go down the drain.

Trust me, I'm just as UNWILLING now.
but it's just another $1500 on the table.
Nothing more, nothing less.
I will just do my part and leave the rest,
a totally none of my business.

It's no ones FAULT. it's just the CULTURE.
Let just sit in that empty hall, and think.
Think, Think, Think.

Cos when we use our mind,
and step out of the time,
and we can do anything
that we wanna do.

I think sometimes,
being EGO-ISTIC is really a good thing.
It makes you feel good.
Maybe I should just try one day.

Now, I really know
what is the reason to take up
something new.

This might be the last straw.
It really sucks to be someone holding great responsibility.
People will be blame you for every single mistake that your team made.
If your team does things well, people will never even say good job to you or thanks for helping out.
But when bad things happen, only then they will start to give you attention.

I don't see the reason why they have to treat me that way.
Holding on to such responsibility is really an ass.
I've been trying to work hard, working my ass off and trying to make things perfect.
I've been trying to satisfy your needs. Motivation and pulling people to work with me.
Trying my best to make it happen.
The way you mentioned things, made me felt that I'm not doing good enough and not helping out.
I'm really going to hate the way we work soon. Seriously.

So here I am.

I'm been trying to update with stuffs. But I'm busy with stuffs okay. Projects was piling up and was forced to study and study for my papers.

One paper down, Three more to go!

Anyways, this post is will be about my Singapore International Band Festival Finals and Award Ceremony on Saturday, 26th August 2008.

OVERDUED POST!

OVERLOAD WITH PICTURES!

As we know, The Philharmonic Youth Winds clinched a Gold and Top for Division I with a percentage of 93.43%. So, we get another chance to perform at the Esplanade on that Saturday the same week. Well, rather than playing both pieces (Symphonic Overture and Cavetown Cappadoccia), we were to only play Symphonic Overture.

These are some of the pictures of that competition day itself.

Anyways, we were to have a final rehearsal at 7pm that Saturday, since some of us requested that we try to perfect our piece. Our maestro was kind of busy that day, Maris Stella had to compete with the other 3 bands, ACSI, Hong Kong and Thailand. So, rehearsal starts at 7pm. Run through the piece once/twice. I felt confident of our playing that night. We just wanted to do our best and do well for that show.

We camwhored, as always during the rehearsal and before the journey. It was really really funny and DaXian, keeps on whining about wanting to eat Old Chang Kee before we leave for the Esplanade. Haha! I guess OCK will give him his MOJO back.

Off we go, to the esplanade for a lifetime performance.

Journey to the esplanade is not as bad and as long as journey to the TRCC. We can't sleep. We kept bitching and bitching and also, CAMWHORE. I know they all love the camera too!

Once we tap into the esplanade, We were looking for our changing room. Philyouth was given about 5 rooms. OCKPERKS picked a room at first but decided to be nice and share it with the flautist, because they're nice too! One thing was that, we were to set up our percussion instruments getting ready for the performance. Instead, we CAMWHORED! Also, we were then told that our performance was at 9.45 -10pm and we just started camwhoring at 8.30pm! So, we took our own sweet time and CAMWHORED more!

We then headed for the stage, wishing everyone all the best. We really wanted to give the audience a feel of how Philyouth is like. Standing up on the stage, was a really really really good feeling. People were watching us. Arh, the feeling. Enters the Maestro Adrian Chiang. Played tuning note and chord. And The first note of Symphonic Overture was played. The performance was awesome. It was really really really good. Though it wasnt a full house but I appreciate every human being that turn up and supported Philyouth. Regards for my friends, who recorded our playing and many thanks to those who thought our performance was a job well done. It was really really good performance. I almost cried again! haha!

We had supper at Makansutra, bitching about our playing and stuffs. Nicholas and all was feeling very very good about his solo and most of us agreed. Rawr, there's still room for improvement but then we know, we did our best that night. We really did. We seriously had a feast there. We spend and ate, spend and ate!
